Fantastic policy to reduce road deaths: Free public transport this Easter

The Queensland transport minister, John Mickel has a great approach to reducing road deaths over Easter. From midnight Easter Thursday all holders to the new ‘Go Card’ for public transport will be given free travel from Gympie to Coolangatta.
This is a revolutionary approach to taking more drivers off the road over busy times. Let’s hope it works and gets adopted by other States around Austraila.
