Glen Eira’s ‘no’ to same-sex list

Whilst it is inevitable that the Victorian State government will push through legislation to allow the recognition of same-sex relationships it seems that the council of Glen Eira disagrees.

Whilst the councils of Melbourne, Yarra, and Port Phillip have shown support for the idea of same-sex relationship entitlements, Glen Eira hasn’t.

I feel sorry for the residents under the Glen Eira council who have been told their relationships aren’t valid.

Do you agree in same-sex relationships that are registered should have equal rights to that of married couples?
