More people die in a train level crossing accident in Victoria

Once again more people, a woman and a child (unconfirmed) have been injured in a level crossing accident in Victoria. This type of accident seems to occur quite frequently on Victoria’s train networks but we don’t seem to get action taken quick enough. The state of the Victorian rail network is terrible and it needs to be upgraded and extended as well as more trains put on to service the people of Melbourne.
Whilst the service and operations contracts still remain in the hands of Connex our State government just wash their hands of these incidents . When really the Victorian Minister for Public Transport Lynne Kosky needs to act.
