This is an interesting article I found when reading the ABC News website. Apparently Britain has accepted 2,000 applications for resettlement from Iraqi’s that helped British forces whilst in Iraq, translators, etc.

A great point was made by one of the comments on the site:

You don’t pull your local “assets” out unless you are about to follow them.

Now that we have a change of government in Australia and a looming, almost probable change of government in the US to the Democratic party perhaps Britain is starting it’s “exit strategy”.

    wheres my poll on this one
    i think that the brits are doing this coz they feel guilty. guilt compels many people to do out of ordinary things
