Does China really have a place in this? Or shall I say does the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have a word on this? They’ve come out and said the attempts to disrupt the Olympic torch relay were shameful.
This comes after I tried to add my blog to Chinese search engines, it was initially visible but within six hours was blocked by major Chinese search results.
The CCP has been put into damage control, trying to stop the media entering Tibet and to stop bloggers reporting on the lack of international review of their human rights in Tibet.
This can only mean one thing. The more they stop reporting of facts, the more people will report. My blog has been banned by the “great firewall of China” but hopefully the tech-savvy of the region will get their voice heard.
China says attempts to disrupt the Olympic torch relay were “shameful” after protests at the ceremony to light the flame added to pressure over its handling of ongoing unrest in Tibet.
